My name is Sandra Grogan, I live in Lanzarote were I relocated 6 years ago. Before coming here I worked as a carer for the London borough of Greenwich, social services for adults with learning difficulties for more than 20 years, and have worked in various placements throughout the department. Job positions held: day center instructor, key worker advocate, lead person for community green project, outreach worker, house support and respite worker to help client settle and work in partnership with their local community, devising activity programs, work placements for individuals to meet their needs and abilities, to support them to gain as much independence as possible by working closely with service user, staff, family, friends and other professionals.
